PHILADELPHIA — Police say two men, one from Lancaster, face multiple charges in the death of a mother and three of her four children. It happened about 10:26 Tuesday morning on Roosevelt Boulevard.  Witnesses say a 2012 Audi and a 1994 Honda were apparently drag racing southbound on Roosevelt Boulevard from Front Street.  The driver of Audi lost control and struck five people, 28 year old Samara Banks and her four children. Banks and her 23 month old son were pronounced on the scene. Her 7 month old child, Saamir Williams was pronounced dead at Einstein Hospital.  Another child, a 4 year old died early Thursday morning.  A fourth child, a 5 year old boy is in stable condition at Einstein Hospital with bumps and bruises.

Police arrested 23 year old Khusen Akhmedov, who lives on North Queen Street, in Lancaster. They also arrested 30 year old Ahmen Holloman, of Philadelphia.  Charges against both men include Homicide by Vehicle, 3rd Degree Murder and Involuntary Manslaughter, 5 counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Aggravated Assault, and Aggravated Assault by Vehicle.
