Four people were injured when a mini-van rear ends a gasoline tanker in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County this morning.
Police say the mini-van crossed the center line on the 800 block of Wesley Drive when it stuck the tanker who had just left the tank farm on Simpson Ferry Road. The mini van spun out of control ending up hitting a third vehicle.
The trucks rear wheels and axles were damaged, but no gasoline was spilled.
Three people from the mini-van and the driver of the third vehicle were all taken by ambulance to Holy Spirit Hospital, their names and medical conditions are not being released at this time.
Wesley Drive was closed for about an hour with a backup of cars. This road will be closed until the gasoline tanker is off loaded, drivers are asked to avoid this area if possible.
