Motorcyclist killed in crash with SUV


A motorcyclist was killed Friday night in a collision with an SUV  in Pequea Township.  According to police reports, a 50-year-old man from Lancaster was driving north along the 300 block of Marticville Road shortly before 9 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle and slid into the southbound lane.

He was struck by an oncoming SUV and died at the scene, police said.

His name was not immediately released, pending notification of his family.

The occupants of the SUV were not injured.
