York City Police and York College need your help to find a missing student.
Aaron Frishkorn is from Elizabethtown and he is a senior Sport Management Major at York College. Frishkorn was last seen Monday morning at his on-campus residence in Susquehanna Hall.
Campus Police started investigating his whereabouts when Frishkorn did not show up to what the school is describing as an important meeting with school administrators. Frishkorn also did not show up for his classes on Monday.
“I was notified by our Campus Safety Office on Monday that we had a student who Monday morning was to report to a meeting that he had missed. He then missed his classes Monday and there was some concern about his safety and whereabouts,” said Mary Dolheimer, Assistant Dean with the Office of Communications at York College. “A combination of people on campus knew he was supposed to have some important meetings and things to do that day, and it was very atypical for him to miss those types of things.”
On Monday evening the school contacted Frishkorn’s parents in Elizabethtown to see if they had heard from him or had any information to see where he might be. They did not know of their son’s whereabouts. “We were not able to locate Aaron on Tuesday morning so our Campus Safety Office reached out to the authorities which would be York City Police,” said Dolheimer. “The York City Police have filed a missing person report with the National Crime Information Center.”
