WET FEW DAYS: The much advertised coastal low is with us over the next couple of days. Don’t expect to see the sun for a few days as clouds stay with us through the end of the week and into much of the weekend.
Expect periods of rain today lasting a few hours with some breaks in-between. It will be cool, damp, and raw feeling even when the rain stops. Highs today hold in the middle to upper 50s with a cool northerly breeze. Scattered showers linger into tonight and even Friday. Highs Friday should touch the low 60s. Many spots should see a good soaking of rain, from 0.5”-1.5” possible in spots.
WEEKEND: The coastal low will keep the clouds for Saturday, but rain chances should break down a bit. We’ll keep some drizzle and a few showers for Saturday with highs in the middle 60s. Sunday, we should see the sun return as the coastal low breaks apart and shifts south while a bit of high pressure from the north tries to wedge into the state. We’re in the upper 60s again.
NEXT WEEK: Skies continue to clear a bit Monday into Tuesday as we await our next storm system for Wednesday. We look to stay dry with sunshine returning for early week and highs near 70°. Wednesday starts dry but showers may arrive later in the day as the next system moves into the region.
Stay dry and make it a great Thursday!
