Three Adams County men are charged with 19 burglaries dating back to April 2013.  Robert Voitek, 18, Japheth Miles, 22, and Arik white, 21 lived in a home along the 400 block of Village Drive, in Gettysburg.

In additional to multiple burglary charges, the men are also charged with illegal possession of firearms. drug possession and drug paraphernalia. Carroll Valley Police say that Voitek, Miles and White were arrested on November 13 in Conewago Township fleeing a burglary in Carroll County, Maryland. Based on that information, a Carroll Valley officer went to the suspect’s home. After noticing  drug paraphernalia, he requested a search warrant.

With the assistance the Adams County Drug Task Force, Cumberland Township Police and other Carroll Valley officers, they searched the home and found a 60 inch flat screen tv that was stolen in a burglary in Cumberland Township.  A second search warrant was requested and recovered numerous items including another tv, a 46 inch flat screen, a DVD, a Glock .40 caliber handgun with the serial number removed, jewelry, watches, camera lens and other items.

Carroll Valley Police and State Police later went to an address in Biglerville and recovered a 9mm Hi-tech carbine with the serial numbers removed. They also recovered jewelry and a damaged jewelry box from the woods off Jack Road in Franklin township.

Police the arrests of the three men clears most of the open burglary cases in Carroll Valley as well as a number of from around Adams County.
