West York police are still searching for the gunman involved in killing another man Wednesday night.
Police say the shooting occurred just after 5:30PM at the corner of West Kings Street and South Highland Avenue.
When police arrived on scene they found William Terrell 39, of the 100 block of S. Highland Street with multiple gunshot wounds.
Terrell was conscious when he was transported to York Hospital. He did undergo emergency surgery but he later died as a result of his injuries.
Police did see a subject walking on the 1400 block of W. Philadelphia Street. When the subject seen the officers he did take of running north towards residential yards on the 1400 block of Stranton Street.
Police are describing the suspect as a black male, tall and slender, last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue or black jeans.
In addition to locating the suspect, police are investigating the circumstances that lead up to the shooting.
