Love Triangle Leads to Murder

Investigators have released the identity of a man who was shot killed after a woman’s husband opened fire inside a trailer in Williamstown on Saturday as 27-year-old James Harbst.

Roberto Souffront, 53, of Williamstown is charged with  murder, attempted murder, burglary, aggravated assault, reckless endangering, and possessing an instrument of crime.

According to state police reports,  Harbst brought Souffront’s wife back to his trailer along the 100 block of Lenker Drive.

Souffront showed up and shot Harbst after confronting the pair, police said. Souffront then assaulted his own wife. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
