A woman was hit by a pickup truck in a grocery store parking lot in Middletown on Friday evening.
Police say it happened in the rear parking lot of the Giant Foods Store located along the 400 block of East Main Street around 6 p.m.
The driver briefly stopped before speeding out of the parking lot. The vehicle is described as a black mid-sized pickup truck.
The woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
