COLD AND DRY: It’s a dry day today with cold air slipping into place this morning. Expect highs in the upper 20s to near 30°. We’ll see the early clouds break for sunshine through the day. The evening looks chilly too as temps fall back through the 20s.
CLIPPER: Overnight tonight a quick moving wave of energy aloft will swing on through. This will have enough moisture to bring some light snow in the overnight to daybreak hours Tuesday. Expect a quick dusting of 1-2” of snow ending shortly after daybreak. We’ll hang onto the clouds and take a break, but another little wave may bring another 1” later in the day. Be alert for slick roads.
END OF THE WEEK: We begin to warm as the pattern shifts for midweek. Wednesday, we’ll see highs in the low to mid 30s. By Thursday we finally break the 40° mark with sunshine. Then Friday, our next system moves in, but we’re staying on the warm side. Temps will be in the mid 40s with rain showers likely through the day.
WEEKEND: Spotty light rain is possible Saturday under mostly cloudy skies. Highs stay in the 40s. By Sunday, the next wave rolls in bringing more rain, heavy at times. Highs nudge toward 50°. The forecast will need to be tweaked as the weekend approaches.
Have a marvelous Monday!
