A man is back in custody after he was accidentally released from the Dauphin County booking center last month. Joseph W. Heim, of Highspire, was released from the Dauphin County booking center after posting bail for a traffic arrest Nov. 20 before authorities realized he had an active warrant for previous criminal charges, according to a news release issued by the Dauphin County District Attorney’s office.
Authorities say Heim was taken into custody around 6:40 a.m. Friday, exactly one month since he was mistakenly released.
No further information on Heim’s arrest was immediately available.
