| Amtrak will continue to operate a modified schedule on the Northeast Corridor Wednesday, Jan. 8, as a result of the extreme cold affecting much of the country.Acela Express and Northeast Regional service will operate between Washington and Boston with reduced frequencies. Schedule changes are also anticipated for Empire Service between New York City and points West of Albany along with Keystone Service between Harrisburg, Pa. and New York.Passengers holding reservations that require modification are being accommodated on other trains and proactively notified by Amtrak Customer Service.
