Pennsylvania State Police say Michael Robert Bryerton, 68, of Dillsburg, was the driver of the tractor trailer that crash into a Dauphin County home yesterday afternoon. Police say Bryerton’s rig was traveling east when he suddenly drove off the roadway and slammed into the home along the 1500 block of River Road in Reed Township.
After impact, a fire broke out, destroying the truck and the house. Bryerton was pronounced dead at the scene. No one was inside the home at the time of the crash. Police say their investigation continues.
