Pennsylvania State Police say an 18 year old man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon in a shopping complex parking lot in Perry County.  The victim was about to get into his car when a black man walked up to him. The man pointed a black handgun at the victim and demanded money. It happened shortly after 2 pm in the Village Square parking lot, in Carroll Township.

The robber took about $180 in cash from the victim. He was last seen headed toward Route 850. The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, between 200 and 215 pounds. He had  “soul patch” facial hair under his lower lip. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police – Newport at (717) 567-3110.
