Suspects identified in Subway robbery, one in custody

A female suspect is custody and a warrant is issued for her male companion in the Wednesday afternoon robbery of a Subway restaurant in Carlisle.  A green safari van, the suspected getaway vehicle used in the robbery, was stopped by borough police.  Taken into custody was Star Shopp, 32, of Carlisle. Shopp is being held on $100,000 bail at Cumberland County Prison.  She is charged with Robbery and Conspiracy.

Police have obtained an arrest warrant for her accomplice, identified as Jerrel Thompson, 32, whose last known address was in the 400 block of N. West Street, Carlisle. Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Thompson is asked to contact Carlisle Borough Police at (717) 240-6603.  Thompson may be in possession of a firearm.
