Marticville Middle School was briefly on lock-down this morning after a man made threat over the phone to the school’s Assistant Principal, then showed up at the school. State Police say Kevin Shertz, of Martic Township, made threats referencing the use of buckshot. Shertz was stopped a short distance from the school in Martic Township and taken into custody.
It happened just before 8am and the lock-down lasted until 8:15 am.
Shertz is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats.
No one was injured during the incident.
