Firefighters had to deal with fire and ice when they were called to 365 West North Street in Carlisle this morning. The fire went to three alarms. There was reportedly a lot of material in the home that pretty much acted as accelerant and made it difficult for firefighters to get to the flames. The Red Cross is on the scene to help the homeowner.

The frigid temps caused icy conditions for firefighters to deal with in the cleanup phase.
