Met-Ed says about 20 percent of its customers in York County are still without power as of Thursday afternoon. That’s about 36,000 people. There are about 1,000 customers still out in Cumberland County.

PPL reporting 11,000 customers without power in Lancaster County. And Adams Electric Cooperative working on about 4,500 outages, the majority in York County, as of Thursday afternoon.

The Red Cross says some people stayed overnight in their shelters at the York County School of Technology and Living Hope Community Church in East Hempfield Twp., Lancaster County.

Meals are also available at the shelter at the York County School of Technology (2179 S Queen Street, York Twp.).

Living Hope Community Church is acting as a pet shelter, in addition, so you can bring animals (2823 Columbia Ave, Lancaster).
