IT’S FRIDAY:  And as a reward for a cold week, we’ll give you some warmth!  Well, at least a warming trend begins.  Today, we start in the 20s, but we end up in the upper 30s.  Skies are mostly cloudy as a storm system skirts by to our south.  Your plans look fine for today and tonight.  Enjoy!

WEEKEND:  We’re looking forward to a tranquil weekend with only a tiny shot at some flakes or drops late Saturday into Sunday morning.  For Saturday, expect highs in the upper 40s.  A cold front passes and slightly cooler air rolls in for Sunday with highs in the low 40s.  Enjoy the break and more seasonal air.

NEXT WEEK:  Monday and Tuesday will feature a brief warm up.  Highs Monday close in on 50°, with middle 50s for Tuesday.  Then, we’re monitoring the next potent storm system for mid to late week.  It comes with colder air too.  Details remain fuzzy on timing and strength, but we’ll keep watching to hammer out the details into next week.  Check back later!

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME:  It’s almost here!  Be sure to change the clocks AHEAD one hour Saturday night before bed.  While you’re at it, change the smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm batteries too!

Have a fantastic Friday and an amazing weekend!
