West Virginia based Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue is offering a $500 reward for a stolen horse. The horse is believed to have taken to New Holland,  in Lancaster County where it may have been auctioned.

The horse named “Moon” is a five year old Bay Standardbred Mare with Freeze Mark 4FE23 on the right side of her neck. The Adopter violated the rescue contract and sold Moon to a man in Ohio.  Moon was re-registered incorrectly as Poorhouse because the buyer reader her Freeze Mark wrong.
