OVERVIEW:  Unsettled weather will continue for the rest of the week. Several waves of low pressure will pass south of the area along a stalled frontal boundary bringing the threat for showers from time to time. A stronger low pressure system will move through the Great Lakes and track northeast of us sweeping a cold front across the area. High pressure builds in for the weekend.

THIS EVENING:   It was a showery start today but the rain is gone and the clouds have thinned out enough to allow for some late day sunshine. This has helped to warm temperatures into the low 60s.  Temps will fall back to the low 50s this evening. Expect it to stay partly to mostly cloudy but dry the rest of the evening.

OVERNIGHT:  Clouds will return as a little disturbance rides in. Showers will also return for the morning, lows in the low 40s.

TOMORROW:  Morning showers possible then a break with overcast skies for a few hours before rain returns late afternoon anytime after 3pm  into the evening.  We could pick up another .25” by tomorrow evening.  Heading into Friday evening we could end up with over .5” with some isolated areas reaching close to 1.00” of rainfall.

WEEKEND OUT LOOK:  High pressure builds in for the weekend bringing sunshine and very nice conditions.  Clouds will hang on for the start of the weekend but with morning temps starting in the 40’s, any sunshine by the afternoon will help to warm us quickly to near 60.  Sunday we start out cooler I the middle 30’s but with plenty of sunshine, we should again see highs near 60.

STARTING WET NEXT WEEK: Showers return Monday along with cooler temperatures for the start of the week as a low pressure system rides in late in the day.  An upper level trough sets up over the east coast Tuesday for a couple of days keeping temperatures below average.
