Pennsylvania State Police say a shooting in Lancaster County over the weekend was accidental. It happened at around 9 o’clock Saturday night at the victim’s home along the 900 block of Buck Road in East Drumore Township.
Police say the victim, Emily Mae Hawthorn, 26, shot herself in the leg while moving a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun within her attached garage. Her injury was not life threatening. No criminal activity is suspected.
