New Holland Police charge a 13 year-old with scratching 20 vehicles at the New Holland Auto Group, 508 West Main Street. The damage was discovered by New Holland Auto Group employees on April 3rd. They showed police surveillance video from April 1st that caught the suspect in the act around 8pm on April 1st.

Investigators believed they identified the male after the New Holland Police School Resource Officer and a Lancaster County Juvenile Probation Officer watched the video.

On April 4, 2014 Lt Heisse interviewed the 13 yr old New Holland male with his father at which time the teen admitted he had entered the dealership parking lot and intentionally scratched the vehicles.

New Holland Auto Group advised the damage to the vehicles is $1,500.

Charges of Criminal Mischief against the teen were filed through Lancaster County Juvenile Court.  He was released to his parents.
