Fire damages Fairfield Borough home

An early morning fire damaged a home in Fairfield Borough, Adams County on Saturday.  The fire was reported around 5:45 a.m. at a home along the first block of McGinley Drive.

No one was hurt in the blaze, but fire officials say a dog died in the fire.

Damages are  estimated at $100,000.

No word yet on what caused the fire. A fire marshal is investigating.
