A 44-year-old man was hit in the 100 block of Lititz Avenue around 10:00 a.m Wednesday. The victim told police he was crossing the road when he was struck by a car. He flew up onto the hood before landing on the ground. The vehicle is being described as a green Mitsubishi. Police said the vehicle sped off from the scene heading north on Lititz Avenue in Lancaster County.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
