Police in Cumberland County charge a Harrisburg man in an afternoon home invasion/burglary. At around 2:20 pm Tuesday afternoon police responded to call for an active home invasion at a home in the 6300 block of Creekview Road in Hampden Township.
Upon arriving on the scene Township Police quickly took Marcelino Heredia into custody. A second suspect was able to run away on foot. He managed to get away despite an extensive search of the surrounding neighborhood. There were no reported injuries.
Charges against Heredia include Burglary and Theft. Following arraignment he was sent to Cumberland County Prison.
