A Hummelstown man accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl will stand trial, according to Dauphin County District Attorney Edward Marsico.

Jonathan D. Madeira, 27, is charged with indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors. Madeira is accused of assaulting the girl on three separate occasions between June and November 2013 in Derry and South Hanover Townships, police said.

The victim, who was between 12 and 13 when the assault occurred,  told police Madeira rubbed lotion on her body after having her undress and then wrapped her in plastic wrap. On one occasion, the girl was made to sit in an outdoor swing harness while partially undressed, prosecutors said.

Madeira reportedly told the victim not to tell anyone about what had occurred, police said.

Charges were filed against Madeira on May 13. He was arrested and a judge set bail at $10,000 .

A formal arraignment in the county court of common pleas is scheduled for Aug. 21.
