CMN Torch Relay will be held in York for the first time ever

The Waterway Bar and Grill in York was the site of an important event  on Sunday.
Sign-ups were held for the upcoming Children’s Miracle Network Torch Relay.
The relay is a walk that is held in about 2 dozen cities across the country every year. For the first time ever, it will be held in York.
Walkers will start and finish at Foundry Park after a walk through historic downtown.
All money raised will go to help children at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and it could become an annual event in the White Rose city.
Garret Lauer, an Ambassador for the Torch Relay says, “Bringing business to downtown, positive outlooks, and most importantly monies and fundraisers to Hershey Children’s Hospital, so if this first year is going great, we can bring it back year after year and that’s what’s most important to me.”
York’s CMN Torch Relay will be held September 29th.
