Hospital Threatens to Call Child Services Unless Mother Has C-Section

babyA Florida mother says she wants to have a vaginal birth, but she says the hospital threatened to report her to child welfare authorities unless she undergoes cesarean surgery. Jennifer Goodall says she just wanted to have the option of the natural birth or a C-Section.

    She does not have to get the c-section if she does not want one. She needs to sign a consent form for the hospital to even do the procedure. All she has to say if the hospital threatens to call child services she can sue for assault against the hospital for making her do the c-section, especially if she will not sign the consent form. If parents can deny blood transfusions, she can refuse a c-section
