Two children are discovered living in filthy conditions in a Cumberland County home. A county Sheriff’s Deputy attempting to serve court papers at 14 Westminster Court, North Middleton Township called police after he observed a child in the home that was trashed and smelling of rot and feces.
After obtaining a search warrant, Township Police, found the home covered in household and animal waste, including broken window glass and exposed glass. The couple at the home, Robert Dotson, 30 and Christine Christ, 41, were arrested.
Charges against Dotson and Christ include two counts of Endangering the Welfare of Children, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Cruelty to Animals. Two children in the home were placed with family by Cumberland County Children and Youth Services.
