COLUMBIA, Pa. (WPMT)-Police in Lancaster County are trying to determine if four home break-ins are linked in Columbia Borough.
The most recent happened Friday night along the 100 block of North 13th Street while the victim was at home. The thief entered a home through an unlocked window and took cash and small items, police said.
Another similar robbery occurred on Thursday night along the 1100 block of Ridge Avenue. This time the victim was not at home. Small items were taken from several rooms, authorities said.
Two other robberies happened on July 24 along the 100 block of South Luther Lane. The suspect entered through the windows and took cash and other valuables. Both residents were asleep in their homes when the burglary occurred. Investigators said the thief disabled security lights at the rear of the properties.
Police advise keeping all windows and doors locked, especially at night.
