Police in Cumberland County have charged a man with sexually assaulting a five-year-old over the course of about 18 months.
East Pennsboro Police say Michael Daivd Smith, 41, abused the child from January 2013 to July 15, 2014.
Smith turned himself into police Tuesday. He went before magisterial district judge Richard Dougherty, who set his bail at $50,000. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday.
