There will be a hearing today on Perry County Sheriff Carl Nace’s decision to not release the names of those who have permits to carry concealed firearms to county auditors.
Officials say earlier this year, auditors requested that information for a financial audit to check if permit revenue was accounted for.
However, Sheriff Nace says that information is confidential under state law.
