A teenager was attacked and robbed on a walking path in Conewago Township last week. It happeend Thursday evening in the 400 block of Copenhaffer Road.

The 17 year-old victim reported that while he was on a walking he was approached by a male he knew as “Vic”. As he and “Vic” were having a conversation, a second, unknown male, struck the victim from behind. The second male then dragged the victim off of the path. The second male displayed a black handgun to the victim while “Vic” was punching and striking the victim.

The two assailants then took the victims back pack and ran towards the Bennett Run Development.

Patrol units were able to identify “Vic” as 17 year old Victor Jocktane of 550 Kentwell Drive in Conewago Township. The victim and Jocktane new each other from having attended school together.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Victor Nathaniel Jocktane charging him as an adult with the following offenses:

  • Robbery
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking
  • Receiving Stolen Property
  • Harassment

Jocktane turned himself into police yesterday.

Investigators are still trying to identify the second subject.
