A woman and child were injured in an ATV accident on Wednesday after the vehicle left the road and struck several trees police said.
According to police, Autumn Taschek, 19 of New Bloomfield was driving an ATV with a 4-year-old on her lap along Clouser Hollow Road in Centre Township. The vehicle went off the road, down an embankment and struck multiple trees.
The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. police said. Taschek was flown to the hospital with serious injuries and the child sustained minor injuries police said.
State Police are still investigating the crash.
