The quarantine period for nearly 50 people who came in contact with the first Ebola patient in Dallas is expected to end Monday.

After 21 days, friends, family and others who came in contact or partial contact with Thomas Duncan will no longer need to be isolated.

As of now, none of those people are showing any signs of contracting the virus.

Two nurses who cared for Duncan before he died, however, did contract Ebola and both women remain hospitalized.

Meanwhile, across Europe, countries are stepping up their efforts to stop the spread, including Belgium.

Starting Monday, Brussels Airport, which is a hub for flights coming from Africa, will begin screening passengers.

Federal officials in the U.S. continue to screen passengers at five major airports, including JFP in New York and Washington Dulles International.
