Three people are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Seattle, Washington.
Police believe the shooter, a grandfather in his 60’s, shot and killed his daughter and teenage granddaughter before turning the gun on himself.
All the victims were pronounced dead inside a house on the 6300 block of S. Fountain Street shortly after the shootings around 8:15 p.m.
A 10-year-old boy who called for help was able to escape the violence uninjured, but “obviously shaken up,” Seattle Assistant Police Chief Nicholas Metz told reporters.
The boy was left in the care of extended family who arrived at the crime scene.
No motive was immediately clear.
