LONDONDERRY TWP., Pa.(WPMT) Firefighters battled a mid-morning barn-fire in Dauphin County. The fire broke out at around 10:30 am along the 4300 block of Kennedy Lane, Londonderry Township. Tanker trucks were called in to provide water. Fire crews remained at the scene for hours dealing with hotspots. The barn is considered a total loss.
The barn was filled with hay and corn stored on the top floor from the fall harvest. Cows were kept on the lower level. The owner got all the animals out safely.
A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
