New Digital Parking Meters in Harrisburg Brings Higher Rates

 

HARRISBURG (WPMT)- Parking citations are going up in Harrisburg if drivers park on a street during scheduled street sweeping.

Starting Monday–vehicles in violation of street cleaning restrictions will  face a $30 fine, according to Park Harrisburg’s website.  The fee went up $16.

If the ticket is not paid within 4 days of its issue, drivers will accrue a $20 late fee.

Park Harrisburg reminds residents and visitors to check the street cleaning signage on their street to find the days and times that street cleaning occurs.

Vehicles must be removed from designated areas during scheduled street cleaning or vehicles will be ticketed.

  • Front Street to Seventh Street – 1st and 3rd Wednesday and Thursday
  • Reily Street to McClay Street – 2nd and 4th Thursday and Friday
  • Foster Street to Paxton Street – 2nd and 4th Tuesday and Wednesday
