HARRISBURG (WPMT)-Police on Tuesday arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with stabbing another man during a robbery in Harrisburg.
Authorities charged Purpose L. Mills with aggravated assault and attempted homicide. He was taken to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Police responded to the 1300 block of North Third Street just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday for a reported stabbing. The 62-year-old victim told police an unknown man approached him and asked for money. The suspect then stabbed him in the face and ran off.
Investigators recovered a knife in the area of North Third and Verbeke Streets.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 12.
