Several businesses are teaming up to help New Cumberland River Rescue with the cost of the search for missing hunter, Medard Kowalski.

The “Dine to Donate” fundraiser kicked off Wednesday morning at the Cedar Cliff Subway along Carlisle Road in Camp Hill.

The restaurant’s owner, Kathy George, says 10% of all sales will go to the New Cumberland River Rescue.

More than a dozen other businesses in the area have also donated items to be auctioned off; all of the money raised from that will also go to the non-profit river rescue team.

Volunteers with the New Cumberland River Rescue have been searching for Medard just about every day since he went missing along the Susquehanna River back on December 1.

Their funds have since depleted.

Members of the community say they want to do everything they can to help find Medard.

The fundraiser will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Cedar Cliff Subway restaurant.
