YORK COUNTY, PA (WPMT) Police in York County investigate the attempted armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver. It happened at 11 pm Sunday in the first block of Kenray Avenue in Dover Borough.
The 48 year old driver told police that he was attempting to make a delivery to an apartment. Upon arriving at the address, the residence was dark and no one answered the door. The driver returned to his vehicle and saw two males enter a maroon colored sedan. Moments later a third male appeared at his vehicle.
The male began knocking on the window of the vehicle with a dark colored handgun, the delivery driver said he was able to drive off in his vehicle and avoid further escalation of the robbery attempt.
The delivery driver was not injured in the incident. The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark colored hoodie.
