MILD & SOGGY: After some early morning showers, we’ll see on and off periods of rain through the day today. We see a break in the morning with more showers for afternoon hours. Another breaks come for the early evening before steady rain arrives for late evening and overnight. We may even get a stray, gusty thunderstorm or two. Have the rain gear handy.
Highs today will do middle and upper 60s. Overnight, as the front passes colder air rushes in with the rain showers ending by daybreak. Temps drop to the lower 40s.
SATURDAY: It’s a windy day for you with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Expect a northwest wind at 20-25mph with gusts in the 30mph range for the day. Highs struggle to make it to the 50° mark as colder air settles in.
EASTER SUNDAY: We start with passing clouds and temperatures in the middle 30s. By afternoon, it’s partly cloudy with highs in the nearing 60°. We may see a few stray drops, but much of the holiday looks to stay dry.
UNSETTLED WEEK: The work week ahead looks pretty unsettled as several fast moving disturbances pass through. Expect a dry start Monday with added clouds and temperatures in the middle 60s. Tuesday into Wednesday a disturbance moves through bringing some periods of showers. Highs both days are in the lower to middle 60s. It’s cooler to end the week as high pressure sags south. Another wave rides on the southern edge of the high; putting cool showers in the cards Thursday into Friday with highs back to the 50s.
Make it a fantastic weekend. If you celebrate, have a Happy Easter too!
