MILD AND BREEZY EASTER

High pressure cleared our skies today, and ample sunshine is expected yet again for the Easter holiday. This evening any remaining clouds fade, with the strong breezes weakening as well. It’s a chilly night, with low temperatures falling into the lower to middle 30s by morning. Keep that in mind if you plan on attending early Easter services! Southwest breezes pick up again on Easter, though not nearly as strong. There’s plenty of sunshine Sunday, and it’s mild too. Afternoon highs are in the lower to middle 60s.

TURNING UNSETTLED

Monday is mainly dry, but a stationary boundary sets up through the middle of the week. Weak disturbances push through, and this brings us showers chances. After a mild and partly sunny Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday bring plenty of showers. Highs fall from the middle to upper 60s Tuesday into the 50s on Wednesday. Thursday, high pressure to the north tries to nose in drier, but chillier air. Depending on how successful it is, sunshine should return to the area. It comes at a price, with temperatures falling into the upper 40s to lower 50s. Temperatures could end up a bit chillier depending on how much cold air funnels into the area.

MORE APRIL SHOWERS

Whatever reprieve from the wet weather Thursday brings is over quickly. Our next system slowly pushes east, bringing a return to showers both Friday and Saturday. Temperatures do recover Friday, rising through the 50s. We could be near 70 degrees on Saturday!

Have a great Easter!
