WORMLEYSBURG (WPMT)-A Cumberland County waitress is facing charges after she was caught stealing tips from her customer’s credit cards, police said.
Hannah Beth Hooven worked at Duke’s Riverside Bar & Grill located along the 300 block of South Front Street in Wormleysburg. Officers were called to the restaurant on April 17 for a reported fraud investigation.
Police said she stole money from her customers by altering their credit card receipts. Hooven is charged with access device fraud. She was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Prison for processing.
It is unclear how much money was stolen.
