HARRISBURG, PA (WPMT) Police have identified two suspects in an early afternoon shooting in Harrisburg. It happened at 1:25 pm at a home in the 600 block of Dauphin Street.

Investigators say Tavone Ashford, 21, and Shawn Phillips, 23, entered the home with the intent to rob a 28-year-old male who was visiting.  During a struggle, a round was fired striking the 18-year-old female victim in stomach.

Ashford and Phillips then fled the scene in a vehicle that was later found abandoned at the intersection of Cameron and Maclay Streets. Ashford and Phillips were last seen running south on North Cameron Street from the Burger King.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where she was immediately taken into surgery. She is expected to recover.

Charges against Ashford include robbery and conspiracy. Phillips is charged with robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, and person not to possess a firearm.
