LEBANON, Pa. – A big search Thursday afternoon for a robbery suspect in Lebanon City.  The robbery happened at about 1 pm at the Family Dollar store at 306 Cumberland Street.  Police say the suspect walked up to a clerk at the checkout and demanded money.

He told the clerk that he had a gun, but did not display a weapon.  After getting some cash, the suspect ran away on foot west on Cumberland Street.

The suspect is described as a thin build hispanic male who was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and jeans.  He was last seen running west in the area of 6th & Willow Streets.

City police launched a massive search that for the suspect that included the use of a police K/9 unit but came up empty

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Department at (717) 272-6611.
