SHIPPENSBURG -- Boiling Springs and Susquehanna Township won girls team championships while Camp Hill and Carlisle took home boys team crowns at the District 3 Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg's Seth Grove Stadium on Saturday.
Boiling Springs, which won the Girls 1600 meter run (Leanne Weaver), 4x100 meter relay, triple jump (Abby Martin), and shot put (Madison Martin), edged Wyomissing 104-99 for the Class AA title.
Susquehanna Township's girls captured the Class AAA crown, despite winning only one event, the 4x100 meter relay. Harrisburg finished in second place.
Carlisle won the boys' Class AAA crown, thanks in large part to Zach Brehm's triple win. Brehm won the 3200 meter run on Friday, then followed up on Saturday with wins in the 1600-meters and 800-meters. Isa Paschall won the long jump, as well.
