Thousands of Veterans and their families gathered at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery to pay tribute to the men and women of the US Armed Forces.
The Cemetery's Memorial Council hosted it's annual Memorial Day Program, Sunday afternoon.
During the ceremony, people placed wreaths, flowers, and flags on the graves of fallen soldiers.
Veterans and service organizations brought their organizational and national colors for the parade of flags.
The flags are marched through the Memorial arena before and after the ceremony.
People in attendance say they come back year after year.. to show their gratitude for those who served, those who are serving, and those killed in combat.
Johnny Gill, Vietnam Marine says, "It's the heart of America. This is how the Nation is judged, on how they remember their heroes and everyone who gave their life's blood or served is a hero."
Paul Hastings of the PNC Marine Corps League Department of Pennsylvania delivered this year's address.
The service also included live music from a Military band.
