EPHRATA, Pa. — Two people were arrested Friday after police said they stole scratch off Lottery tickets from a store in Ephrata.

Natasha R. Sweigart, 24, and Dale R. Sweigart, 25, both of Ephrata, are each charged with retail theft and conspiracy.

The theft occurred at the Turkey Hill located at 903 State Street in Ephrata.

It’s alleged that Natasha, who was employed at the Turkey Hill,  had been stealing scratch-off Lotto tickets during her shift.  According to police, Natasha turned over the stolen tickets to Dale who would then cash them in at a different convenience store. The pair collected $150 in winnings, investigators said.

The store manager contacted Ephrata Borough Police after noticing several missing lottery tickets, valued at $30 each.
